Yeah, I've gotta bring this up. Sadly in our 'new generation' respect has gone down. It makes me so, so, so, so, so, and a billion more so's sad. Humans and animals both deserve respect. Flowers and trees and even fences deserve respect. respect EVERYONE on this site. No matter how rude or annoying this person is, RESPECT HIM/HER. Don't fight fire with fire, it's simply not possible. If you can't do that, or don't feel like it, DO NOT JOIN. Simple. Am I understood? Good.

The Staff && You

Please listen to the staff. We know what's going on, we know what to do on this site. Sure, we make mistakes, but we're only human. We DO have the power to ban you. No, seriously, we'll ban you if we have to. If you're not respectful, you'll have to answer to the admin [PS;; I Love You]. So please, be kind to our staff and don't get on their nerves. Do not, and I repeat, do NOT, bully ANYONE on this site, no matter what. Remember, we can ban you. Do you know what can happen to someone who has been cyber-bullied? Some go into a depression, and some even commit suicide, all because of a cyber bully. If we see any signs of cyber-bullying we will either warn you, or most likely ban you from Collide for life.

Auto-Hitting

I hope you know that this annoys just about everyone, right? Well, auto-hitting is a big no-no. Oh,you don't know what that is? Well, here's an example:

Loki flicked her tail and stared at Mau. "Fine, you asked for a fight, I'll give you one." She leaped in the air, claws unsheathed, a smirk on her face. She slashed Mau's side and the pure white chick was now bleeding heavily in her side.

That ^ my friends, is auto-hitting, when you don't allow someone to dodge if the wish. It's the same for dodging. You can't dodge every attack. It's impossible! So, homies, you get what I'm puttin' out? Good.

God-Modding

Do you know how stressful god-modding can be? Your character shouldn't act like a god! It's just plain annoying. Don't go: He lifted the large three ton boulder on his two shoulders with ease, winking at the two chicks.
No. Just, no. Not possible.

Mating && Birthing

So as your characters grow up, it's natural that they would want little kittens of their own. Just remember a few simple rules.
Think of the season their giving birth in. Spring would be a good time to give birth, winter wouldn't.
Then, go to the "Birthing Tent" board, and find the thread where it says "Birthing Application." Make sure both parents have posted a separate "Desired kits" thread in the same board. The staff will take your applications into consideration, and then decide how many kits you get and the color of their pelts, eyes, etc. based on your applications. But remember ;; NO GRAPHIC BREEDING. FADE TO BLACK.

Mary Sues

This is a strict no-no. Mary Sues, or Gary Sues, are perfect characters. They have no flaws, no weaknesses, and they never do anything wrong. Well, everyone has a flaw and a weakness. Maybe their lazy, or maybe they can't run as fast as others can. Something like that. And EVERYONE does SOMETHING bad in their life. You never cried enough to annoy your parents to death as a baby? Yeah, I thought so. So, do you understand? NO PERFECT CHARACTERS.

Character Tally

We suggest you have 1-8 characters. Go over that limit and you may be very, VERY busy. Of course, you can have an unlimited amount of charries.

A.P.P

A.P.P means account per person. That means, all your characters are kept on ONE account. You shouldn't need five accounts if you have five characters. ONE account for five characters. I personally think it's easier. Thanks! =)

Third vs. First

Ah, the age old story between first person POV and third person POV. Well, I'd like to tell you that this site is strictly third person POV. Don't know what that is? Here are examples of third and first ;;

First Person POV

I gravely swept my tail across my brothers' body. He was cold. His fur stuck out at all angles. A raccoon had got him. I sighed, closing his emerald eyes. I couldn't bare to look at him anymore and I lifted myself to my feet, quickly walking away from the lifeless body.

Third Person POV

Oscar gravely swept his tail across his brothers' body, Alex. Alex was cold. His fur stuck out at all angles. A raccoon had got him. Oscar sighed, closing his emerald eyes. He couldn't bare to look at his brother anymore and lifted himself to his feet, quickly walking away from Alex's lifeless body.

See the difference? Yeah. . .so this site will roleplay in third person. ^-^

Yes! Ratings to the rescue! =DD We'd like to keep this site PG-13 at the most. Here's a little info ;;

G - Oh, good 'ole G. It's kinda like Barney stuff. NO swearing, "I bruised my elbow" type violence, and NO sexual stuffs. DDD:

PG/PG-13 - Parental guidance suggested for children under 13. More swearing, more descriptive violence, and little sexual stuff.

R - Did you know "R" means "Restricted"? As in "Adults and 18+ only"? Guess what~? THE PROBOARDS TOS [ TERMS OF SERVICE ] STATES THAT EACH FORUM MUST BE RATED PG-13 OR LOWER. OTHERWISE, WE GET THE JOY OF CLEANING UP THE SITE IF SOMEONE DECIDES TO MAKE THIS SITE RATED OVER PG-13. WHICH MEANS, THE STAFF HAS EXACTLY 24 HOURS TO MAKE SURE THAT THE FORUM IS SPICK N' SPAN ENOUGH SO IT DOESN'T GO BYE-BYE. FUN, RIGHT? Oh, and DON'T pretend you don't know examples of rated "R" crap. Using words stronger than "hell", "damn" and "ass". MAYBE "shit," but "crap" is strongly preferred. This also means sexual themes, like GRAPHIC mating, [ not fading to black ] and stuff like that. Gory violence is tolerated on this site, but JUST put in the THREAD TITLE, "[R-Violence]" and MAKE SURE it's at the TOP of the thread as well! You MUST put a rating description at the top of the thread like so ;;
